This review is a bit challenging to rate! If I were to compare this restaurant to other sushi spots in Campbelltown, as well as all the restaurants in the area, I would easily give it a 4.5. The sushi is consistently good and fresh, and the staff are very friendly. In my view, it's the best option when you're craving sushi in the vicinity. However, when compared to places further in the city, it might be more of a 3.... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sushi Bay:
The staff was very rude. There was very little food available on the conveyor belt, so I had to ask for something. She was staring at me and then started talking to me. View all feedback.
Rudest-Essen! the personal does not communicate with each other, you ask to sit the other, tell you to wait outside!
Try them somewhere different.3x order confirmations from the waiter and still receive incorrectly. not really busy, but not enough personal. in the past, it was better, but every visit is always disappointing. Good luck.
Always go here when visiting family in cambeltown. Always been amazing but my last visit 8th of sept was okay. You can definitely see the laziness. The bloke working making rolls seemed to preoccupied trying to talk to other male staff and not focused on what he was doing. Simple things like not putting seaweed wrap around crumbed prawns stuck out and show a lack of care.
Nothing special at this place but the price way too expensive compared to sushi train at ED square or Campbelltown Market Fair. Once and never again
Compared to sushi restaurants in Sydney CBD, this place is like 40% worse in quality of food and service with 50% more expensive price tags. A chef picked pre-made sushi dish from the lane and gave it to me when I ordered sushi. Usually, a chef makes new one for order in CBD. When a chef made sushi for me (because he could not find pre-made one on the lane), the sushi rice was too hot. Obviously, their chefs don't get proper training as sushi chef and don't know proper temperature of sushi rice. Their sushi containers seemed not to be washed for months, covered in cooking oil. It's not that bad, but the price is too high. The sushi cover is too dirty. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$40–60
