Heck yes 5 stars!!!! +2 Been seeing people at church bring Starbird Chicken to our fellowship Sunday so this Wednesday an opportunity came up to go. I’ve been coming here as a bi-weekly treat for close to two years.It’s because the food used to be consistent and delicious.However there was a recent change.It coincided with the switch from long sandwiches to round sandwiches.I notice the texture of the meat seems more rubbery and not appealing.I’ve been patient but the quality of the sandwich chicken is consistently worse now. Disclaimer: ordered on a Thurs night via Doordash. The food was overall decent, great flavor on the boneless wings and the torta sandwich was pretty good. I replaced the original fried chicken with a grilled chicken. Perhaps by virtue of not eating at the establishment and having the food served hot, this made the meal less pleasing.
I ordered the Big Star fried chicken sandwich and the 12 piece bone in wings. The sandwich was delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy. Loved the crunch with soft bread. However, the wings were fried too long for my taste. It was too dry, even with the dipping sauce. Next time, I'll stick to the sandwiches.
So fresh and delicious! Hard to find good GF tenders around, but the Classic Tender Box hit it out of the park! Great portions for the sides and the sauces were *chefs kiss*
How do you make healthy, GF wings taste this good??! I used to always get my wings from Wingstop, but recently I had a friend introduce me to Starbird, ever since then I have gotten every wing order from this place. I don't have a single complaint, the taste is unrivaled.
I asked for Utensils Napkins Ketchup and they forgot to include it. So I'm giving 3 starts. Also the Truffle Fries are not amazing and bland. It's obvious the fries are an afterthought. The Rainbow Slaw is mostly just kale.
