Highlights included the perfectly cooked red wine braised short rib. Dessert was just as remarkable—a rich Dubai cheesecake with perfectly balanced flavors. The service was flawless, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to making the experience special. Chef Tucker’s talent shines through, making Lira a standout in the culinary world. Planning to come back for dinner next week. Note that they don’t answer the phone before 5 pm, but asking at the door is helpful. Celebrated Galentines here, and it was fantastic. Loved the sunchoke velouté, and my friend is a big fan of the hamachi crudo. The gnocchi was perfectly prepared. The owner recommended the filet with uni, which was absolutely spot on—by far the best filet I’ve had. The mango tart was a delightful finish. It was a very enjoyable evening with the girls, and we’re returning in two weeks with a larger group. Definitely worth exploring the menu further. Every detail, from start to finish, was thoughtful and elevated, making it exciting to have such a creative and refined spot in the South Bay dining scene. We began with the sunchoke appetizer, which was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, with rich, layered flavors. The hamachi crudo appetizer was another standout, perfectly balancing the heat of chili oil with the subtle essence of coconut—a truly inventive combination that worked wonderfully. The menu encourages sharing, making the meal feel interactive and enjoyable. There’s a great variety to choose from, ensuring something for everyone. The short ribs were a highlight—tender and bursting with flavor—and the Dubai cheesecake was an ideal dessert: light, creamy, and uniquely flavored. I also enjoyed a skillfully crafted mocktail (unfortunately, I can’t recall the name), which was perfectly balanced and refreshing. Each dish was vibrant, adorned with edible flowers and fresh ingredients that made every plate look like art. The modern, lively atmosphere makes Lira perfect for a date night or a gathering with friends. To top it off, Chef Tucker came by our table to greet us—she was warm and approachable, clearly passionate about her craft, which shines through in every dish. We’re already excited for brunch to start in a few weeks; if dinner is any indication, it’s going to be fantastic! Lira is truly a gem, and I can’t wait to explore more of the menu soon.
