Quinsam Restaurant - Campbell River

Only "terrible " because it no longer exists - destroyed by fire July 2017 . I don't know how to be redundant enough to write a verbose " review " of a an old landmark the quickly burned down this hot July 2017 . There was a lot of smoke and , fortunately no one injuredor dead

We used to go here at least once a week and enjoyed it. Took the family there after it reopened with the new owner. Place was empty at lunch time and here's why. Walked in the front entrance and it smelt like an ashtray soaking in stale beer. Yes still went in. Ordered what we have had many times before and when it came it was disappointing. To add to the experience crack heads living in the hotel up stairs kept coming into the restaurant asking to use the phone and arguing with the new owner. Horrible experience will never go back.

The local dive bar in Campbell river! Go have a Lucky Lager here with the locals and learn about the real Campbell river. I recommend bringing a friend for your personal protection as some interesting folks hang here, many with warrents. Say hi to Luke when you visit, if he is not in the clink.

Have breakfast or lunch at this cafe regularly, good food and service. We live in Campbell River so we eat here often on the weekend.

You have to meet Captain Cook,This guy does it all from getting you coffee to taking your order and then cooking it and serving. It was just a treat to see this Captain is a real teat to watch.I will Definitely be a regular. FROM GOOD BREAKFAST,TO A REAL FILLING LUNCH AT A REASONABLE PRICE!!!! Check it out and say ahoy to that Captain Cook, see ya there mon-sun 9-3 daily
