Mcdonald's - Campbell River

Halfway through my order at the kiosk, another customer informed me that the Interac machine didn’t work at that kiosk. There was no sign to warn me, and the girl at the front desk didn’t mention it either, nor did she inform the customers who tried to use it after me. It wasn’t a huge issue, just a bit annoying. However, the young man’s lunch I returned to was dry and tough, with the texture resembling rubber. It felt like it had been sitting out overnight in a hot display case. Also, my McDouble tasted off and had a strange texture, as if they tried to salvage it after it was poorly prepared.

The fries were overcooked, and the McChicken was only lukewarm, even after I requested fresh fries.

The large Mac is quite a sight! The bun is oversized, while the patties are just a bit larger than paper thin. It turned out to be a 200% messy experience.

I arrived at 10:20 PM on August 2nd. Even though it was late, I felt a bit guilty for ordering several meals with my friends, but the staff was incredibly kind and the burgers were excellently made. Honestly, anyone who was working that night deserves a raise. The late-night team was truly outstanding!

Great tasting Big Mac. Still my favourite fries! Fast drivethru can’t complain.
