It’s a small and quaint restaurant but mark my words…the food is literally to die for!The Vegan Falafels and Chicken Shawarma’s are out of this world delicious! View all feedback.
Good, tasty food. Service is very friendly.Cons no bathroom, no sink to wash hands.Styrofoam and plastic dishes ? I wish the disposable dishes were from paper!
I ordered the large wrap with the expectation that it would be enough for two meals, but I ended up finishing it all! Every bite was absolutely delicious, with perfect flavor combinations. I've officially found my new addiction. Thank you for the fantastic food!
This place serves some of the best falafel I’ve ever eaten! Crispy outside while still moist and chewy inside it was a revelation. I got the vegetarian platter and felt like a Queen. Everything was so tasty! Would definitely eat here again.
I first tried their falafel wrap at the Filberg Festival in Comox a couple years back. I remember that it was fresh, healthy and delicious! I decided to have it again today for lunch and I wasn’t disappointed…it hit the spot. I am looking forward to trying their other selections. I am not familiar with that type of cuisine but i am looking to trying more. In addition the service was warm, friendly and quick.
Went in all the way from Courtenay hoping to cure my shawarma fix after missing this cuisine after moving from Vancouver a few years ago. Sadly, I’m still waiting. I got a large chicken wrap $15) and while tasty, was a small portion size for the price and lacked freshness and vegetables. As well, the chicken wasn’t from the rotisserie spit as expected although it was cooked fresh to order on the grill. It is my preference, but I prefer the style of Shawarma wrap that is not toasted, and which you are able to add items like lettuce, pickled turnips, etc into your wrap. I was disappointed to see the veg hidden away and my ask for lettuce denied. As well, I learned the plates are simply the aforementioned wrap with salad and hummus, not shaved meat on rice like one might imagine a chicken shawarma plate to be.Overall, good home-cooked food but just not the restaurant I was hoping for. My quest for a good chicken shawarma wrap on the island continues…
