Michelin guide expectations respected, each ingredient enhances its dish to the nth degree, giving an explosion of flavor in every bite. Service worthy of a star, highly recommended
Father-in-law's 70th Birthday dinner, went to Truth for dinner, recommended by our friends and checked it out on Google and TripAdvisor reviews, thought we were trying it out. It's a quaint boutique restaurant, there were 9 tables, few tables outside but it was January, so everyone was inside dining in. The staff were very polite and apart from me and my daughter the rest of the family were Naepolitano, so the staff explained/spoke with us in English. We had starters, main course and desserts, We tasted each other's dishes, but the only thing I have to say was the steak was a bit tough/chewy and the Pistachio Panna Cotta, I think there was too much gelatine added in. Apart from that, it was top notch. You might need to find a parking space somewhere else, as it's situated between houses/apartments, there are a couple of free parking spaces in front of the restaurant. All in all, it was great.
I evaluate my personal experience, we tasted the Fork menu All good apart from a few small flaws in the not very tasty egg and the summer truffle made nothing to say about the service, the desserts were good but nothing exceptional apart from the pastiera chupa chups
As a couple we tried an appetizer tasting menu and finally a dessert each. 9 good quality courses, only the bao and the bun for the salmon tartare were slightly overcooked. The mousse was not a 100% mousse but good in flavor especially the raspberry. Kind and prepared waiters, also taking care to fill the glass or goblet when empty. Nice environment, open kitchen and display of bottles, the only flaw for me is very minimal and a little cold for me, but it's a matter of taste. 10% of the service increases the price of the final bill a little but I believe it is thanks to this that they manage to keep the tasting menu price lower. We'll be back to try their first or second courses.
Truth is a restaurant that won me over with its innovative, high-quality cuisine and refined atmosphere. The dishes were an exciting experience and the service was impeccable, we were pampered from the moment we entered. A place definitely worth the trip to.
