As a co-worker in the same industry I’ve been always invited by the novelties that this new up-coming restaurant is bringing to life so far. And They got it right! First a round of applauses to the two chefs patron, Emanuele Fabio, for their bravery and professional service they offer and the idea to bring something new like the tapas, but keeping in mind TO CREATE, and respect what the art of culinary stands for. Sensational! I went in and selected a 9-courses tasting menu, and each of every one was freshly prepared, served with an explanation and enjoyed it until the end. In the end, it’s the beginning of a new era for the neighbourhood. Get ready because the TRUTH is about to dazzles. Chef de Rang, Giuseppe.
As a couple we tried an appetizer tasting menu and finally a dessert each. 9 good quality courses, only the bao and the bun for the salmon tartare were slightly overcooked. The mousse was not a 100% mousse but good in flavor especially the raspberry. Kind and prepared waiters, also taking care to fill the glass or goblet when empty. Nice environment, open kitchen and display of bottles, the only flaw for me is very minimal and a little cold for me, but it's a matter of taste. 10% of the service increases the price of the final bill a little but I believe it is thanks to this that they manage to keep the tasting menu price lower. We'll be back to try their first or second courses.
I had dinner with my girlfriend, and I don't feel like giving it a less than excellent rating because the food was excellent, both in terms of quality and presentation. However, there are a few things I'd like to point out that were a bit disappointing. The service was very friendly but completely absent, resulting in some rather lengthy delays (we arrived at 8:45 PM and left at 11:10 PM). Once our dishes were brought, it was difficult to call anyone from the staff as they never came to the table and were busy with other items. When we finally did, we asked for dessert, and after waiting 40 minutes without receiving it, we mentioned it, and it was brought to us, saying there had been a mix-up in the kitchen—and well, that can happen. Then, we finished our dessert, which was very good and appreciated, and asked for the bill. Needless to say, after waiting another 20 minutes for it, we decided to get up and go pay directly at the cashier. So, it's a restaurant I absolutely recommend. I wouldn't be put off by this incident and would return. The food was exceptional (especially the appetizers). However, there's clearly a need for greater customer service. Having the opportunity to dine without feeling pressured by the staff and enjoy the evening is a great privilege. Being forced to try to get service is something that can be avoided.
We didn't like the location and it was very noisy. The raw fish was good, but we didn't like the seafood carpaccio. The first course was delicious, with butter, shrimp, and truffle. The artichokes were very good. The desserts were good, average. The bill was moderately high. Good service.
