This shop is absolutely charming and creates stunning works of art—however, my order didn’t turn out as I had hoped. The photo on the left shows what I envisioned for my wedding cake this past Sunday, while the photo on the right represents what I actually received. While the cake was beautiful, it wasn’t exactly what I had in mind. The details were made from paper instead of fondant, and the entire cake was bright white when I had requested a nude color. Additionally, several guests commented that the cake tasted "oily" and left an unusual film in their mouths. My cake was priced at $185 and was around 8” tall (though I didn’t measure it). Everyone behind the scenes was wonderful and responded to my questions promptly! I still appreciate their menu and the effort they put into their work.

Our cake and cupcakes were absolutely delicious, and our guests couldn't stop raving about them for days. She was prompt, professional, and attentive, allowing us to modify the flavors several times to make everything just right. She even traveled from Wisconsin to St. Louis to create our cake and 700 mini cupcakes for our wedding. It would be a major oversight not to have Chelsea take care of your desserts for any event!!!
