I don't speak Italian but stumbled upon this place on a Wednesday, a rainy day...the place is massive and filled up fast. It was a fixed menu day...course after course arrived. I did the best I could...My favorite was the fresh ricotta, the lamb chops, the ricotta dessert. There happened to be an english speaking person having lunch and she helped me to navigate all of the dishes to come. It is a fantastic place and everyone was so nice and so accommodating. ...it is worth the trip...

We returned for an evening dinner with over 40 newly found relatives. We were treated like royalty and had delicious local fare. This restaurant is a must see! The owner is hands on and on site to attend to the guests every need. No wonder it is known all around Sicily!

Ristorante Filici... read more I 've visited Ristorante Filici for dinner on several occasions now, the last being Sept. 2017. Each time was a deliciously satisfying visit! Ristorante Filici is an out of the way hidden gem in the mountains of Cammarata, Sicily serving fresh quality, locally sourced, authentic Sicilian fare. We had their price fix dinner menu (which I highly recommend. It offered us 4 huge courses with more than a dozen dishes to try. There were many types of antipasto (several cheeses, cold meats, olives,local delicacies etc., 3 or 4 types of pasta, several types of roasted meat and finally dessert etc. All of it very good and at an incredibly inexpensive price! The staff and service was very nice as well. I will most certainly be going back to Ristorante Filici since I have holdings in Sicily that I must visit on an annual basis. If you 're in the country side/mountain areas of this part of Sicily I highly recommend going to dinner at Ristorante Filici. It 's well worth the drive and price.
