My Dad loves this place and whenever we are in the area, he wants to stop her for lunch. While I have zero complaints about the food, I think the staff needs some training. Yes, they were busy. I get that, but I think we should have been greeted and told something to the effect, Hi! We will be right with you! View all feedback.
What Sweetbee doesn't like about Golden Chick:
The breading on the tenders were very hard and the restaurant floors were dirty and it was not a busy time. Therefore the floors should have been clean. I saw a lot of employees standing around talking when they should have been working. View all feedback.
The chicken was dried out. Spoke to 3 of the 10 eaters and everyone complained.
Wouldn’t no how my food tastes took 30 minutes to just get drinks never got food saw three people get there food. When confronted about the wait time they told me nothing they could do they knew the other people and didn’t know me so I had to wait
This golden chick is only good when you go when the owner is there in the morning. Decided to try one more time time for dinner!! The fry’s look like they been sitting under the lamp for hours filled with grease. My chicken was luke warm. The only thing that was hot was my gravy! The Cole slaw was not cold at all. The young kids that work there are super rude and rush you when in the drive through! Never again will I eat this golden chick at night unless the owner is there. Food was beyond disgusting!
When we travel we always stop here. Nice staff. Constantly good food for price. Tenders excellent Drive thru great.
First time at a golden chick and the food was pretty good. The chicken salad was not my cup of tea but then again it's geared towards others who seem to like grapes and Hellmans mayonnaise.
