Was Jaz C at J.s. Breakfast a mag?
The food was quite good overall. We ordered a veggie omelette, cheese grits, and French toast. This is definitely a dependable spot for breakfast. However, the French toast was a bit thin and dry. The cheese grits were tasty, though they could have used a little salt and pepper. The omelette was enjoyable, filled with onions, peppers, and broccoli. I would definitely return! The place is quite run-down, but the breakfast platters are outstanding! However, I do think the platters could be more generous in terms of portion size for the price. They were a bit lacking in quantity. View all feedback.

I'm not sure if the owner is Asian or Black, but I can definitely say that the sisters in the back know how to cook! This is the best spot for breakfast or lunch. The only downside is that they close for dinner, which is a bit unfortunate. The chicken tastes just like my mama's, and everything is fresh. My only suggestion is that when I call to order a few meals, the "anything else?" question can come off as a bit abrupt, but I understand you all are just busy.

I will never return to this restaurant. When I ordered cheese grits, I expected more than just a slice of cheese placed on top of them. Everything on my plate was drenched in grease. The only thing I managed to eat was the toast; I ended up throwing the rest in the trash.

The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. The service was also quite quick.
