Pepes Piri Piri Kilburn - Camden

After visiting a friend, I found myself on Kilburn Main Street, where there are as many chicken shops as there are spots. It's quite overwhelming, and I must admit I'm a bit envious since my home postcode in WC1 doesn't have any. I'm sure my life is better for it, though. Pepe's Piri Piri seemed like the cleanest option, so I decided to give it a try. It's difficult to resist the tempting £2.50 deals, and I ended up with a meal that included a breast piece, two wings, and fries. There are various chicken-based options available, and I also tried the £1.29 chicken steak burger and non-tap water. The fries were decent but nothing special, and the burger had a hint of chicken flavor. The restaurant was busy that evening, with many people coming in for their meat selections. The wings were on the small side, but I enjoyed the crispy coating on them and the breast piece. There was a hint of sweetness and peppermint, making them a satisfying alternative to KFC. The meat was tender and the service was friendly. It's probably a good thing that I don't live closer, or else I would find myself going back often.

I typically have the food delivered to my home and the service is generally good. The huh is delicious and well-prepared, and my orders are usually accurate. I only ordered the piri from this restaurant, not the fried huh.

I went to the restaurant tonight. One person had already placed their order, and one lady was in the process of ordering. I waited for 5 minutes and made eye contact with the server twice, but was not served and felt ignored. It seemed like they either have poor service or were focusing on delivery orders. I decided to leave without being attended to.

The food and service at this restaurant were fantastic. We visited as a family for a get-together and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys Pepe's cuisine.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is fantastic and the service is outstanding. They are always prompt with deliveries. I highly recommend it.
