Located within Parliament Hill Fields this cafe is targeted at walkers and cyclists across the southern end of Hampstead Heath. it is self service, often crowded, lots of kids and dogs (dogs outside) and its business varies by the weather. Food is Italian Styled, cooked to order and delivered to table, Quality is good pub grub with plenty of chips. not a place to linger too busy View all feedback.
What jonbake doesn't like about Parliament Hill Cafe:
After a disappointing lunch at the Bull and Last 4 f us went to the cafe for coffee and ice-cream. The coffee was terrible. Too much water had been passed through the grounds at too high a temperature giving the coffee a burnt, over tanning flavour. The milk had also been overheated and both cups ended up in the bin.The 'Walls ' chocolate ice creams were disgusting, there was no chocolate in them, just a chocolate fl... View all feedback.
We were looking for somewhere to stop for a drink and snack and came across this cafe and I was quite impressed. Good drinks, v nice chorizo sausage roll, nice cake and all at a reasonable price. Our friends thought it was pretty good too. Keep up the good work.
This cafe may look a little unpretentious, but the food is delicious. The people of Hampstead have long known this, and campaigned long and hard to stop the restaurant from being replaced by a bland chain cafe. Now they’ve succeeded, they deserve our support. Simple Italian pasta and pizza, with some British standards, and good service.
I had really nice time with my friends. We had penne arrabiata and seafood pasta, everything was just perfect, it's been years since my last visit but the flavour is just the same. Great work! Will definitely coming back:
Ideal spot for stopping for a cuppa on Hampstead Heath, carrot cake was really dry but tea was good. Nice tables outside to sit on when sunny, cafe was very busy and but hectic
Usually I go for a hot lunch but today is boiling so had a tomato and mozzarella salad for the first time. Lots of cheese and tomato, nice fresh leaves and subtle dressing. A good portion for £6.
