I absolutely love this restaurant. The flavors are a delightful fusion of East Asian cuisine with a slight kick of spiciness. The service is quick and friendly, and the dining areas are always clean and inviting. As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options available, such as the gyozas and Thai coconut soup. The dishes cater to all tastes and in my experience, everything I've tried has been absol... View all feedback.
What trueRoamer doesn't like about Itsu:
I ordered two different sushi plates at this restaurant and both were a bit disappointing. The flavors were bland and lacking. This place is more suited for a quick, filling meal rather than a culinary experience. The large windows provide a view of people walking along Great Queen Street. View all feedback.
My husband and I visited Itsu near Freemason's Hall for the first time in March and we loved it! Here's why: The food is super healthy! I love fish with rice and greens, and Itsu does that to perfection at quite a reasonable cost. I picked-up the teriyaki salmon and it was delicious! For GBP 7.49 the price was excellent and portions very satisfying The photo does not show it, but the rice is sitting on a bed of fresh, leafy greens, so there was salad as well as the green beans and edamame. This is food that can keep a traveler going! Service was fast and friendly. At Itsu you just walk in, chose your meal (cold) from the refrigerated case. If you order something hot you'll get it from behind the counter. There is no table service, rather self-serve and this means that you can get in and out quickly! So, Itsu offers delicious, healthy food on the go. The setting is one of a kind. Not only did the tables have charging stations, but the pink is eye popping and catching. And, the orchids are all fresh, real flowers. It's gorgeous and quite a change from other restaurants in the same price category. Also, the tables have dividers so that it's easy to share a table w/out compromising privacy. Condiments are on platforms above the table, so the dining area is less cluttered. We really enjoyed our meals and I would definitely eat here again. Itsu is a whole new concept in fresh, healthy meals on-the-go in urban centers. If you like sushi or Japanese food, don't miss it! Highly recommended. I even bought a pkg. of miso soup to add to my travel bag. I can get hot water in any hotel room and, with Itsu's little miso soup packets, I can have something warm and nourishing without any fuss or bother. Thank you, Itsu!
We only had 45 minutes to get something to eat/drink before were due at the theatre and the cosmopolitan Japanese experience was exactly what was required. Ordering was easy, the service was rapid and the meals delicious and healthy. Japanese beer available too!
The sushi at this restaurant is delicious and can be found all over central London. I usually frequent the location on Drury Lane. An added bonus is that if you go in the last half hour of opening (8:30-9pm), all the sushi and salads are half price!

This restaurant is perfect for a business lunch. The fresh fish is beautifully presented and has great prices, making it easy on the wallet to enjoy regularly. I appreciate that they have multiple locations and wish they were near all of my client offices.
