What Nidgehammer likes about Great Northern:
Well she wouldn't choose anywhere cheap that's for sure.. I must admit it's a favourite stop off for me as well whenever we're in the area and so we were last night, our second visit in a week but this time we sat outside to enjoy the balmy evening. The drinks are always good, the mojito sublime as usual but they'd run out of Fever Tree tonic for my vodka which was a disappointment. Bar snacks are like everything here... View all feedback. What TartanWanderer doesn't like about Great Northern:
I understand this is London but £9 for a medium sized glass of wine is taking the mickey surely? Then they have the cheek to add on a 12.5% service charge. It wasn't even table service!!!!! I stood at the flipping bar to get my drink.I don't get a 12.5% bonus just for doing the job I'm paid to do. I felt it was a rip off to be honest and it has put me off going back.I WOULD NOT recommend this place to friends or Tripa... View all feedback.

read moreLocated conveniently near St Pancras station, this restaurant offers a mix of positive and negative experiences. While some customers were impressed by the atmosphere, service, and delicious cocktails, others complained about high prices, hidden service charges, and unhelpful staff. The menu is limited, but the drinks and bar snacks were overall enjoyable. Despite broken cups and handles, the overall ambiance was pleasant for those looking to relax and enjoy a drink outdoors. It seems that while this restaurant has its flaws, it can still be a decent choice for a quick stop-off in the area.
