What Grovesred likes about China City Russell Square:
I went for the dim sum basket, six items for £30. Some were new to me, others I’d had before. All were delicious, well prepared and nicely presented. The staff were all personable, attentive and efficient. The restaurant itself was very clean and pleasantly cool on a hot day. I’m sure I’ll be back when in London again. View all feedback. I have been to this restaurant a couple of time, and it 's not bad, the food is decent enough but unexceptional. Service is a little slow even at quiet times. read moreChina City is a London gem for authentic Chinese cuisine. The preserved egg and lean meat porridge received rave reviews, while the chicken feet and pork ribs were decent. Despite delicious dishes like the Dimsum platter and Braised pork belly, some customers were put off by the dim lighting and lackluster service. However, the majority praised the friendly staff and exceptional food quality. Notable dishes included the Ma Po Tofu and various roast meats. Despite a few negative experiences, China City seems like a top contender for delicious Chinese fare in London.
