Kenilworth is a lovely little country bakery sell a wide range of freshly baked pies and cakes and is well worth a stop when in town. The staff were very cheerful as well. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kenilworth Bakery:
We had 1 x Beef and Mushroom pie, and that was delicious, my husband had a Mince meat and Mushy Pea Pie, that was horrible, the pastry and mince were yummy but the peas tasted burnt. We then asked for a coffee milkshake and were told they only had Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla and one other. My husband I had a pie, sausage roll, jam cream donut a custard/Nutella donut. My husband said the pie, jam cream donut were lovely. The sausage roll was the best I’ve ever had, the pastry was flaky the meat in the sausage roll was ‘meat’ very tasty. The custard Nutella donut was to die for the staff were very friendly polite. We will definitely go again.
The cheese and bacon pie alone made the two-hour drive worth it, not to mention all the other delicious options.
This is the best bakery we have ever visited. It was worth the journey to get here. We will definitely be returning.
I am not a donut junkie but if they are made well AND come with a chocolate lining AND a shot of espresso coffee I AM IN!! They were sooo busy and helping to put Kenilowrth on the map well done guys! BTW the donut was divine
What an adventure. 5 hour drive each way to take on the Donut Challenge. Both my sister I won, although we were very uncomfortable quite Ill after. Never again, but was a good experience to laugh about years to come.
