We went here with family members and we waited 15 minutes for a table. It was packed in there. We went at 5 on a Saturday. They are open at 7:00 am to 10:00. The service was fast and waitress was friendly. Two of us had the Reuben sandwiches which came with fries and a large bowl of coleslaw. The sandwich was like 3 inches thick. It was delicious but I need a takeaway bag. I would definitely eat here again. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The 50's Diner:
Make sure to enjoy this place for breakfast. Today we had to wait for what we ordered to the server to ask for utensils. We got a fork and a napkin and she disappeared before we realized we had no knives. Had to wait. The French toastei was poured into the bread and cooked. Inside was dry white bread. All meat was fried. Toast was only roasted on one side. No pleasant breakfast. View all feedback.
Elvis burger was delicious. Onion rings very good. We had a chicken wrap with fries also very good. Service was excellent. We will be back.

When you think of a"diner" 50'S is what you're thinking about. Booths, bar stools, open concept, friendly staff, great food.If you're looking for high end gourmet style food don't come here! 50'S will give you good old fashion diner grub and plenty of it! From the portraits of late 50's and early 60's movie stars and the fake salamis hanging over the expedite station, this is a diner! The food has been consistently good and generous for the 20+ years I've been coming here.Try it, you'll love it
Out for a Sunday drive and was looking for a great place for breakfast Based on recommendations decided to try this diner well we couldn't believe the selection and as food was being delivered to tables, everything looked so good. We had breakfast sandwiches and we would say one of the best in a long time. This is not a greasy spoon! We will be back
After shopping, stopped in at the Fifty's restaurant for a light meal. Ordered a Rueben and a Hamburger thinking that this would be light however we found it to be more then expected. Good size portions which tasted very good. The size of the hamburger was 1/2 pound of meat and the Rueben was loaded. We had to take the uneaten food home. You will not leave the Fifty's hungry. Service by Margo was very good. Will be back again while in Cambridge.
