Went here on a Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised by the nicely decorated interior. They had three large flat screens with the hockey game on over the bar/cash area. We both ordered the panzerotti. I got the cheese one and it was jammed with more cheese than I could even finish. The pastry on the outside was so nice and fluffy. What User doesn't like about San Francisco Panini:
I was eagerly anticipating a veal sandwich, but my husband brought it home and we were both extremely disappointed. The sandwich was dry, tough, and lacked sauce. After this experience, we will not be returning to this restaurant. It is perplexing why every cook can't make the same sandwich consistently. Very disappointing. View all feedback.

My family and I used to enjoy this restaurant, but unfortunately, the new management does not know how to make a proper panini sandwich. The steak was tough and difficult to chew, and the flavor was not the same. There were only a few pieces of steak on the sandwich. We used to be regulars when the old management was in charge, and initially, the food was good. However, the quality started to decline. We tried to express our concerns to the new owner, but it seemed like he did not care. We will not be returning. If you want a great panini, I recommend visiting the old owners who now have a location in Guelph. Do not waste your time or money at this place as they do not live up to the standards of a true panini sandwich.
I love Italian food, and this place makes great sandwiches. I want to try the pizza or pasta next! Great staff and service.

The one mentioned in this posting is in Cambridge. But the other one, which I went to, is in downtown Kitchener. In summary, Worth a visit. I recommend the panzerotti.
Absolutely horrible experience. It was my first time and will definitely be the last. Ordered the Veal sandwich. The veal was tough and dry, comes with literally just a disgustingly massive bun and tomato sauce, cheese is extra along with anything else. Was hoping for a good sandwich but was sorely disappointed!
