Had the steak stir fry pita. Only allowed 2 toppings, which is very disappointing. The steak was extremely tough and the filling was mostly rice with very few vegetables and everything was swimming in teriyaki sauce. It was far too expensive for what I received. Over half went into the garbage. There are much better places around. View all feedback.

Tried the two gyro special recently - 16 dollars after tax for two gyros plus 2 drinks - great value, and healthy!
Having recently returned from Myrtle Beach, we were missing the ocean, but even more so, our Maritimes home. We decided that a great fix would be that quintessential Maritime dish, the donair. Did Pita Factory still have them? Were they as good as last year when we were there? We decided to find out. As we parked in front of the eatery, we noticed that the $13,95 special for 2 donairs was still in place, but no mention was made of drinks with them. We entered and were told that, with a can of pop or bottle of water, it was now $14.95. Still a good deal, and that's what we ordered. The fixings were all fresh and crisp. We ordered what for us constitute donair fixings--chopped tomatoes, chopped opnions, shredded lettuce, and grated cheese. A liberal amount of the "special beef" was added, along with the sweet donair sauce (imported I was told from Halifax!). I appreciated that we were asked if we wanted more of anything (we took a little more tomato and onion). Then we had the pita in which it was encased grilled (it was also available as is). I had a Diet Dr. Pepper, and my spouse, a bottle of water. We asked for extra napkins; donairs can be messy. These were just as we had remembered, and were reminiscent of Nova Scotia donairs. A great meal at a most reasonable price! Maritimers, take note!
My daughter and I stopped here today, as we both love pitas. I got the gyro and was surprised that the meat was cut in chunks, not slices. The quantity of lettuce was great, but not so the other toppings, except the tzatziki, which was enough to drown a small child. My daughter got the chicken breast and said the meat was tasteless. The sauce in the pita was barely enough to give the chicken taste. While my daughter was getting the toppings, the server appeared to decide there were enough toppings and just moved on to the sauce choice with no explanation. The 2 pitas, without drinks, came to almost $17. I had enough for dinner, which was nice, but I don't think we'll be back. The place is very clean though and the service was friendly overall.
