I haven seen a cafe in any airport in a long time like this. I travel across the US and Canada. Small, quaint, friendly and food looks like I would not regret any choice they have on the menu. I think the food here is expensive for what you get, but it is a cafe at an airport, so I guess the high prices are to be expected. What I find very useful is that since this cafe is located after the security checkpoint, it is possible to purchase drinks here and take them on to the plane with you, and avoid the even higher airplane food and drink prices. The food was OK, however the pricing was shocking! $7plus tax for 1ltr of water. 3 sandwiches, 2 waters was just over $40. I understand that the Cafe needs to cover costs, but this out of hand. Food: 3 Atmosphere: 3
Great renovation done. Good stop to grab your last minute pre flight snacks and meals. Lots of seating area to enjoy a meal on the spot. The sandwiches are fresh the assortment of treats is good. The staff are always friendly on my travels.

Hair in my food and the lady wouldn’t do a refund, just an exchange for something of equal or LESSER value. I just wanted my money back because I had lost my appetite, but since that wasn’t an option I grabbed something else which I had to PAY THE DIFFERENCE ON. They’ll couldn’t comp $1. ONE DOLLAR after finding a hair. Baked into the cheese Gross. I tipped the first time too. Wouldn’t recommend. Meal type: Breakfast
My first time at Waterloo airport I was so delighted to find a restaurant open at 5 AM. I would have settled for anything but I was even more delighted to find that the coffee was fantastic and the staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Wish I could go there without flying!
