What Jake Jones doesn't like about Town Talk:
Closed but I hey say they are open still. Don't waste your time. When they are open it's for 1-2 hours with either salad bar or the one entree of the hour. Very disappointing. View all feedback.
We have eaten here a few times. Each time has been the same. I had chicken fried chicken which says two chicken breast. What you get are think boneless skinless battered chicken breast. That is really just chicken tenders and it's $17.95 They don't have mash potatoes even with chicken fried steak. They do have gravy though. Kind of odd to put gravy on your baked potato or fries that are offered. The bake potato's are very small and if you ask for a loaded one you get 1/2 piece of bacon and some melted shredded cheese on it for $2 extra. They have no vegetable selections. You get a salad which is just bag salad with one whole carrot stick and a couple of slices of cucumber. They must pre-make the salads as they serve them with saran wrap on them all pressed down. They bring out bread with the salad that are just store bought buns and they were cold like they just came out of the fridge. They have daily specials. Wife had the steak that was on special $32.95. It was good and cooked right but oddly That is the same price as on the menu. So don't be fooled by that. If you choose to eat here plan on shelling out at least $50. Unfortunately the other café restaurant closed down so it's this or Amateur's. for dinner unless you want to travel to a different city.
Not feeling well we chose the carry out for today and it was excellent, very accommodating, service very timely. We go often on Sundays and have never been disappointed with the meal. Several choices to pick from and fast service. I can't imagine why there would be a bad review!
