Temple Bar offers a mixed experience - while some dishes lack flavor, others like the spareribs stand out. The beer menu can be unreliable, and some portion sizes may disappoint. However, the V-Day menu was a hit, offering flexibility without pressure. The Thanksgiving dinner was well-received, with perfectly cooked turkey and excellent bisque. Standouts include the Green Circle chicken with wild mushrooms and the Sea Bass with couscous. Service may be hit or miss, with knowledgeable hosts but uninformed waitstaff. Despite some inconsistencies, Temple Bar provides a cozy ambiance and tasty dishes worth revisiting.
The food here was soou good. as part of the dull from boston and this far exceeded expectations.
We spent Valentine’s Day at Temple Bar and it did not disappoint!! We really liked how the V Day menu was a la cattle and not fixed it gave us options and we didn’t feel pressured. Our server was great and recommended a bottle of red that went perfectly with our meal! Only slight complaint would be how close the tables were to each other. We kinda felt like we were eavesdropping on the couples on either side of us because we were all squished in like sardines. That being said, the seating didn’t take away from the overall experience. Will return!
The food was decent, but not amazing. The service was a bit slow despite the lack of customers. Worth a visit.
The restaurant offers outstanding cocktails, a decent selection of beers, and excellent food with a varied menu. Brunch is the standout meal, but dinner is also quite impressive. The service is consistently professional and top-notch. It's a great spot for a weeknight date as it is usually not too crowded.
