What User likes about Stratton Student Center:
The Stratton Student Center is clean, well-lit, and spacious. There are plenty of tables and chairs on both the first and second floors for people to socialize or study. LaVerde is a small food market, Dunkin's, and the Coop are still located on the first floor. The furniture is new and looks fresh. View all feedback.

the student center is both better and worse than if I was there in the late 70s on the positive side, it is much more accessible with ramps and better elevators. the convenience store and fast food are, I guess an upgrade to the old coffee house, but there is no more a game room. there are some nice large rooms, but it doesn't seem great for studying. The Stratton Student Center is clean, well-lit, and spacious. There are plenty of tables and chairs on both the first and second floors for people to socialize or study. The day was absolutely lovely, with a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.

I used to think this place was just an average student center, but it was elevated to a 5-star rating because of the amazing Café Spice on the second floor. Unfortunately, it seems like MIT has canceled Café Spice. I may reconsider my rating if there are some great new restaurants here, but for now, it's mostly closed and only has a small Dunkin Donuts.
