Feedback
Giulia, a beloved Italian restaurant in Cambridge, offers a varied dining experience that has left some patrons raving while others feel underwhelmed. Diners appreciate the exquisite pasta, with dishes like pappardelle and bucatini praised for their flavor and freshness. However, inconsistencies in meal quality and service have surfaced, with some patrons encountering slow pacing and inattentive staff. The atmosphere, though vibrant, can be noisy, and gluten-free options are limited. For those willing to navigate the reservations and occasional service hiccups, Giulia remains a top choice for flavorful Italian cuisine and enjoyable desserts in a charming setting.
We ordered the semolina cakes, which were somewhat interesting but rather understated. The Prosciutto plate was decent, and the Burrata was enjoyable. However, it felt like there was more emphasis on presentation and sourcing than actual preparation. I also tried the Tagliatelle with mushrooms, which lacked any standout flavors and seemed unbalanced—too sweet without enough salt or spice; the mushrooms were virtually undetectable. Overall, it didn't live up to the elevated standard you'd expect for the price. Considering the small portions, high prices, the difficulty of making reservations, and the unremarkable dishes, it simply wasn't worth it.

Consistently good food and service. Rarely do we find a place that delivers on food, cocktails and desserts in Boston.
I was with my husband to celebrate our wedding anniversary, he been trying to reserve long time ago and finally he got it. We appetizers we don’t like, the focaccia was leaking in salt and even the olive oil, wasn't accurate on the menu description with cannellini bean crema charred spring onions, chive blossoms, olive oil, grana padano, we don't receive that items on it or even in a separate recipient, doesn't taste the cheese described on the menu. The seasoning on the olives, we didn’t like that much, the caponata came with a bread without any butter or oil the caponata itself I particularly don’t like the raisins on it . The main plate was really good, we get the casarecce and the agnolotti. The dessert fig gelato, was interesting, not that sweet, interesting textures could have more of the fig shortbread. I was expecting more flavor, compared to other restaurants with the same price menu, but we were disappointed. I don't recommend. Price per person: $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure
