Was Andrea L at Cambridge One a mag?
Great tasting pizza (if you're a fan of thinner crust), midrange prices, sleek decor (think cool concrete, dim lighting, modern chic), good for a casual lunch or slightly nicer dinner what's not to like? For two people sharing, 2 half pizzas is the perfect amount. We went with the Italian sausage pizza and the Spinach artichoke (vegetarian) pizza both were fantastic. I've gotten the Grilled chicken one before as well... View all feedback.

What Ojus P dislikes about Cambridge One:
Had a fonder recollection from the last time I came. Decent pizza. Shared the plain #1 and a fontina potato #5 and both had intriguing flavor but neither were great. Great service. View all feedback.

We came out to Cambridge, 1 for lunch because they had a Yaymaker Paint Nite scheduled on a certain specific day, and we liked the picture that would be painted. Cambridge, 1 advertises on their website that they do not take reservations. When we got there, I understood why Cambridge, 1 isn't a large space. However, being a rather good sized party, we couldn't risk just walking in and seeing how things went. Fortunately, they'll work with large groups, and it turns out, we ended up being the bulk of the Paint Nite clientele that day. We pre ordered for the group a selection of salads and pizza pies approximately one pie for every two people, and a few salad for some roughage and we ate it all. The grilled chicken, romaine, croutons, balsamic vinaigrette $13 was completely covered with slices of actual chicken breast meat (yes, white). The vine ripe tomato, mozzarella, cucumber, red onion, crouton, balsamic $11 was rough diced, and my personal preference of the two. The pies came out two at a time, piping hot from the oven, cut into 8 squares. The crust was thin, tender for the most part, but more crisp at times. We ended up trying nearly half the menu: 2 italian sausage, ricotta, tomato, roasted onion 13/24 4 wild mushroom, garlic confit, herbed ricotta 16/30 5 potato, fontina, parmigiano, romano, rosemary, garlic 12/22 11 spinach, artichoke hearts, chèvre, slow roasted tomatoes 13/24 12 grilled steak, slow roasted tomatoes, gorgonzola, arugula 14/26 The steak came out first, but was sadly a little tough. My surprise favorite was the sausage, since I tend to favor vegetable/chicken on my pizzas. Next was a tie between the mushroom and the potato. Last place, the steak. Service was pleasant. The casual atmosphere perfect for our needs.

I came in for a few drinks and left feeling quite underwhelmed. Our group ordered a bottle of wine, but the waiter never returned to check on us, even after more than an hour. The place was mostly empty, so I’m not sure what was keeping the staff occupied at the bar. Overall, the experience was average, but the service was definitely below par.

I came here with a few friends quite a while back and enjoyed the pizza. My party got the Cambridge #1, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, and the potato one I believe the potato one was our favorite. I would definitely say it's above average for brick oven pizza (at least from what I remember) but it wasn't the best pizza ever. I actually like Otto's pizza (which is just down the street) a little bit better. I will say though that this place has a really nice seating area and wasn't very crowded the last time I was there (which was for lunch) so it's a good place to go with a group and chat while eating pizza. Otto's is definitely not the place to do that. However, I'm sure there are other pizza places in the area that have good pizza and a good seating area as well. I haven't been here in about 6 months and to be honest I'm not sure if I'll be back. I rarely eat sit down pizza (I usually take it to go), so that may be why I haven't been back. But it's been so long that maybe it's time to try this place again!

We visited Cambridge feeling quite hungry and thought pizza would be a convenient option. At first glance, the restaurant was charming but completely empty—no customers, no staff, and we were left wondering if it was even open. Fortunately, they were open and seated us by the window. If you stand up, there's a nice view of an old cemetery. The prices are on the higher side, and since we were having a late lunch, we decided to share a pizza. When it arrived, we were surprised to see it was actually a large flatbread with no sauce, just cheese. It ended up being quite tasty, but it wasn’t at all what we expected. I understand we’re in Cambridge, but $26 for a flatbread topped with a bit of steak and arugula? Wow. I’d give it around 3 stars for decent service and flavorful, though overpriced and misleading, food.

After spending some time in the Cambridge area, I was drawn in by a sign promoting an offer of garlic knots with the purchase of a cocktail, which I found too tempting to pass up. The interior had a charming, modern vibe. However, the bartender seemed rather uninterested in providing service, which I found off-putting. I ordered the "Garden Party," a gin cocktail that turned out to be rather forgettable. The garlic knots had a nice flavor but were disappointingly tough and chewy. When I asked about the house beer, I was met with the same indifferent attitude. Although I didn't try the pizza during this visit, my overall impression was decidedly underwhelming!
