the chalk of salt offers delicious curry and butter chicken. all their curries are gf and they have even verified that their wobbles will not be fried in rubbish. a large part of their good is gf or can be gf by choosing rice instead of naan. I love this restaurant and recommend it to any of my friends on the look for a delicious gf option. yum! View all feedback.

I have always enjoyed dining at this restaurant. While my family has had mixed experiences, I would recommend avoiding any dishes that contain shrimp unless you want to risk getting sick. Despite this, the staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. There are better places in Cambridge for curry, but if you're looking for a casual bar-like atmosphere with Indian food, Grain of Salt is a good choice. View all feedback.
The vegan products are very well prepared and much better than averaged. the channa masala is my favorite. we pick up dinner to go at least once a week.

I always have a consistently amazing hot vindaloo at this restaurant! The food is excellent and authentic, with flavorful Indian cuisine that is delicious and the staff is courteous and wonderful.
Great service, immediately smell the spices when you walk in, good prices, the tandoori chicken was only 10.99! Love it
The food was excellent, with the server/owner going out of his way to recommend a more suitable dish than my intended order. My only complaint would be that the beer was served in a regular glass; not chilled. I believe this is more of a custom issue, as my Indian dining companion had water without ice and the same owner/waiter did not seem surprised. When in the area, I would surely come back
