The Iris Café offers a stylish setting where you can enjoy high-quality coffee, drinks, cakes, and light meals. Members of Newnham College who pay with their University card benefit from a 25% discount. Please note that those who are not current members or who do not use a University card will be charged full price. To access the Newnham discount, you need to load funds onto your University card, which can be done online (login required). The Café has gone cashless, so payments are accepted only via University card or debit/credit card. Open to the public, the Iris Café welcomes guests daily from 8am to 5pm. Newnham college cafe. The gardens are delightful year around then pop in for a coffee and cake. Lots of food options including many vegan items. A great way to start the day in Cambridge. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Visited this Sunday morning, lovely cafe and tasty sausage roll. The woman who served us at the till was super friendly! Unfortunately, a young man with glasses made us feel very uncomfortable when he scowled at us and rudely answered when we asked if the coffee on the table was ours. Left the morning feeling very uncomfortable for asking a very simple question! In the future I’ll refrain from bothering him with such an offensive question. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5
