we returned last night, with family and friends, to the water at the mouth of cambrai. This establishment is well named and we do not let ourselves return to it: never disappointed! : great friendliness, reception with smile, establishment or it is good to ask: quality service and food of choice. everything is done so that the moment is pleasant and magical. frankly, push the door (after booking, of course): a dynami... What Wilhelm Lowe doesn't like about L'Eau a la Bouche / D'io a s'Bouc:
We did a service meal in this establishment, we were a group of 25. We all took a formula at 27,50€, the boss is not very pleasant at all and in addition did not even want to offer a digestive!!! did not especially do in group!!! dear for what it is!!! View all feedback.
This restaurant has a very beautiful old school atmosphere and eating was also very good. we all tried the welsh I recommend when they love melted cheese. the prices are also not cheap, but not too expensive, and the service was also not exceptional, but not bad.
Sunday afternoon. to the happiness is still a table available for two (book front seems recommended) the place is occupied with native. a large family with birthday party. another family with oma and opa. children running around. the kamin fills the room with a...glow the interieur looks like an old caffe. very authentic. eating is great. the parts are large. local dishes. very tasty. the prices are reasonable. the service is very nice and friendly. we recommend!
We are frequent visitors in cambrai and it was not our first meal in the restaurant. but my mother and I ordered the zucchini crumbs that, when she arrived, only carrots without zucchini had in it. when they came to us and... when we thought we would want everything else, what was done and we didn't feel that way. but it was when we came to pay that we were very disappointed. they had accused us of the two crumbs, even though they complained and did not eat. When I asked this, she was very creepy and after a crowd heggling took one of the price, but insisted that we had to pay for the other. a very arrogant dame that we felt treated tourist on a very inseparable wise. it is enough to say we would never recommend it to everyone and we will certainly never return. Too bad if we have a peniche not 100 meters away! very disappointing.
This restaurant has a very nice, old school atmosphere and the food was also very good. We all tried the Welsh which I recommend if you love melted cheese. Prices aren 't cheap but not overly expensive either, and service wasn 't exceptional but not bad either.
Sunday noon. Luckily a table for two is still available (booking upfront seems recommended) The place is packed with locals. A large family having a birthday party. Another family dining with granny and grandpa. Kids running around. The fire place fills the rooms with a...glow. The interior looks like an old cafe. Very authentic. The food is great. The portions are large. Local dishes. Very tasty. Prices are reasonable. The service is very nice and friendly. We recommend !
