Presque quotidiennement nous avons pris un petit café ou un petit thé en terrasse et nous avons pu apprécier l'accueil toujours égal. Un rituel bien sympa en vacances. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hotel Cafe du Trinquet:
Nous avons commandé des croques monsieur et une part de gâteau basque. Les prix sont certes bon marché mais la qualité n'est pas au rendez-vous. Ce sont des plats industriels réchauffés au micro-ondes. Le service est inexistant. On a l'impression de déranger... View all feedback.
Here on the way back from Spain, excellent location in charming small town. good basis for the exploration of western pyrenees
All about this small family-run hotel was great, with a beautiful room and newly furnished bathroom everything very clean and well equipped. there is a water cooker with tea and coffee and a large flat-screen TV. excellent breakfast served in the room or in the cafeteria. simple parking on the street outside.
There was not much English spoken and my French is minimal, but we have good. our room at the hotel du trinquet was one of the most beautiful during our stay in France and Spain. the bathroom had a “American” shower that we have. rarely found in europa. the device was beautiful, and the wifi worked great. parking on the road during the day is limited to an hour or so. we arrived at the late afternoon and received a paper clock that allowed us to stay at our place until 10 o'clock. the caffe serves sandwiches, but not meals, so we eat elsewhere. our breakfast in caffe, which was the coffee of our choice, juice, yogurt, brot and jelly was delicious. Cambo-les-Bains is a nice, relatiw small town in the French basque area. we had been happy to be there at night when a Capella concert of Basque borrowers by choeur arraga was performed in the local church. it was excellent. if you have the chance to hear them, take it.
The hotel is perfectly located in the center of the town, with a nice terrace . It’s an old traditional basque house, entirely renovated inside (the hotel part). Everything is brand new in the rooms and bathrooms, and immaculately clean! There even is an elevator,...and lights working on a motion sensor in the hallway. But the best part is the landlady, who took such a good care of us and was attentive to each of our needs, and truly went the extra mile to make our stay very pleasant!
