Juventino - Camberwell

The food was decent, but the service was awful. We were attended to by a rude girl with black hair who was disrespectful and cursed at us throughout the evening. She even went outside to vape. I definitely will not be returning to this restaurant.

Six of us went to the restaurant for dinner. The pizzas were delicious, but the risotto was not hot and the roast pumpkin pieces were still hard. Unfortunately, they were out of veal again, which has been the case on our past three visits this year. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she acknowledged the issue and speculated that they may be having trouble getting it in stock.

What happened tonight? My family, consisting of two adults and two five-year-olds, arrived at 7:15pm. While we tried to keep the children entertained, I noticed that all the other customers in the restaurant were served before us. The kitchen kept churning out orders for Uber delivery drivers even after everyone else had been served. At 8:45pm, 1.5 hours after placing our order, a staff member informed us that we would have to wait an additional 15 minutes. I explained that the young children needed to be in bed by 9pm due to school the next day. To make matters worse, none of our orders had even been prepared yet. This ruined our evening, forcing us to get cheap takeout for our family night out and causing the kids to go to bed much later than planned. Can you please explain what happened?

We loved our food. The pumpkin soup was hearty. Vegetarian risottos were expertly prepared and delishious. Service was warm and attentive. A truly enjoyable evening . I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys authentic Italian food.

We had an early meal with some friends at the restaurant. We had made a prior booking with a table in a quiet area and found the service excellent, and the pizzas tasted great. We would certainly go back again and try some of the other meals on offer.
