Food tastes really good. The portion size is just enough. We usually order 2 large chips between 2 adults and 2 children, and that's enough to go with whatever main we have chosen that day. We will not go anywhere else for our fish and chips takeaway now. This is a cash only shop, but you will find a cash machine at sainsbury next door. View all feedback. Their standard cod is absolutely tiny it looks like a kid’s portion. Unless you have the appetite of a five year old it won’t fill you up. Although small it was decent quality and freshly cooked to order. Their regular portion of chips is closer to an adult size and although not the freshest out of the fryer on my visit at least were not soggy or overly greasy.
