The prices... read more I paid £5 for chips and ended up waiting 30 minutes because they messed up my order. I wouldn't have bothered if I had known it would take that long. The prices are steep—£15 for fish and chips! Overall, I wouldn't say it's worth it, especially considering the price range is more like £1–10 per person.

We waited an hour for fish and chips, and it was concerning to see raw fish being prepared right next to cooked food. The staff appeared to be running around aimlessly, not actually accomplishing anything. One of the servers was scratching her bottom and face before closing the boxes of food. The owner really needs to consider how to improve the workplace because it's just absurd. While the food is tasty and the portions are generous, the high prices and lack of organization turn the experience into a complete disaster.

But the stinger is the false advertising and the poor service (attitude from the serving staff included) not limited to putting both small/big items in the same container, listing the price for the smaller one, so that when you buy the bigger one you get charged a ridiculous price in comparison. Staff seemed to expect you to know the menu also and give you attitude when you don 't like Karen 's diner but without the name!
