Once I got home I enjoyed it after doing the following: 1) I opened the burger and cut the white, pithy, inedible parts out of the two tomato slices, and 2) I removed the rare cooked hamburger patty and gave it another 90 seconds in the microwave to finish cooking it. Ground beef should always be cooked well done. To do otherwise is to invite disaster. In 1993 four children died and 178 people were permanently injured from Jack in the Box undercooked hamburgers.

Great lunch spot. had the El Fuego and really liked it. odd that such a nice full sized patty could not be prepared to order. we were told all burgers are mediu... read more Great lunch spot. had the El Fuego and really liked it. odd that such a nice full sized patty could not be prepared to order. we were told all burgers are medium . it was all one dark color. came within minutes of ordering. maybe a pre-cook andfinished on flatop? not greasy and not dripping...just really good. onion ring served as a reservoir for peppers and spicygoodness...brilliant! (see pictures) we will be back for salads, as they passed our table they looked spectacular. Tots weregarlic aoli and light seasonings. very good, crisp and yummy, ended up as breakfast next day.

Unfortunately, although the burgers are good, they leave you with a sense of something is missing vibe to them. The portions are generous, the pricingwas adequate, but the flavor sometimes isn 't always there. I can 't argue that the burgers aren 't good, but I can say I hadbetter elsewhere. Inconsistency seems to be a factor here as well. Needless to say, the restaurant is an overall good experienceand it 's worth a try. Even if you don 't come for the burgers often (like I do), I definitely will keep coming for the tots.
