What Anna Mota likes about Sousa Luís Ramos:
The restaurant is in Camara de Lobos, a town very close to Funchal. It was full when we arrived so we went up the road a few meters to the "Miradouro da Torre" where we found a magnific view over Camara de Lobos (see picture). We then went back to the restaurant for a great dinner. They say is the best "espetada" on the island and I can agree on that. Ask the waiter for garlic butter, its so good. Also tried the "mil... I was recommended by a friend to eat espetada in this restaurant as one of the best espetadas in the island. Well totally disagree, as it was the worse espetada I have eaten in the Island, the meat had no colour and barely any taste...and it looked like the meat had been frozen and defrosted. I will never come back and won’t recommend this place to anyone. And by the way I live in the Island. View all feedback.
