Conto davvero onesto, potrebbe in realtà essere anche più caro per quello che offre. Torneremo sicuramente!

A sweet Italian man, a delight to be around displayed his menu, in three languages Italian, German and english, also came over to us to show us the pictures of the dishes should we not be able to make a decision. Small menu but just perfect, we shared the Fiorentina 600 gram steak, fries and a salad. He brings plenty of bread and fried dough. You will roll out of here with your belly and pockets still full!
The restaurant is a spin off from a family run butchers. Refreshingly providing decent value, e.g. own label wine bottle for 8 euros. Good meat and friendly. Orange decour might give you easyjet pts. Seems full when a lot of other places are empty. Seems to be a lot of locals.
Saw the reviews on Tripadvisor so we had to try this place, it was easy to find, just past McDonalds opposite the large Esselunga supermarket. From the outside you would not think there was a restaurant there as it just looks like a butchers shop, but when you enter the shop the owner will escort you upstairs to the eating area. Don'y expect anything salubrious or romantic the layout is quite basic, but you're there for the food not the ambiance. The owner gave us an English menu on an a4 sheet of paper and you just had to place a tick or cross against the items you wanted. Having seen photos of the size of the portions we chose just on portion of the mixed cured meats which came with a large basket of bread. For main course we both chose the pork mixed grill which was two huge pork chops, a rasher of grilled cured belly pork and a large Italian sausage accompanied by salad and chips and a bottle of nice red wine. The walk back to our hotel was a slow one as we were so full. This place is a must for meat lovers and is such good value for money.
