Fantastic food, to choose between fresh fish of the day, paella, burgers and other local specialities. The times I have come here I have tried both the paella and the hamburger and both dishes are exquisite. View all feedback.
What Andreas E doesn't like about Es Viver:
Extremely rude behavior from the waiter, who also claimed to be the owner. It was obvious he didn't want any guests. As we sat down we ordered a bottle of water, which we unfortunately opened and thus had to pay for. We left before ordering anything else. We were not interested in the expensive fish dishes showed (without price) and just wanted something simple, upon which the waiter started his verbal abuse. Then we... View all feedback.
He started talking about all the stuff his own mother made for the restaurant and we ended paying nearly €80 for 5 small plates of re-heated cheap frozen calamari and below average food . Felt like a real idiot by the end of it. This is a tourist trap. You 've been warned. The only good thing is the views.
We went to this restaurant a few years ago had a terrible experience because of the attitude of the waiter Unfortunately I had forgotten but once I saw him it all came flooding back he repeated the same performance I have no doubt that this restaurant can serve good food but not whilst this guy is front of house

We travel a lot and we have never before encountered anything close this.
Had no problem with the staff as the previews reviewer, but food was very mundane for what they charged. Ordered chicken with salad and the salad was a load of lettuce with onion and a slice of tomato. A bit more effort and imagination wouldn't go amiss. A coke and an Aquarius was nearly 8€ (even more expensive than at the airport), it was the only restaurant in Mallorca that charged us cutlery service an generally they just have the impression of milking as much money out of tourists as possible. Crummy restaurant with top class prices. One to avoid.
You can have bad service. At first we had to wait 30 minutes to be served, although the restaurant was very empty. When they finally wanted to take our order, they didn't even have Paella, even though we asked before, if they were to use everything on the menu. Then they asked us to leave the restaurant quickly because he wanted to go to bed and doesn't want his wife to get angry because she had to cook Paella. It was not only the fact that they did not serve what we wanted, but the way he chased us out of the restaurant. You should take a short walk and go to Miguels Bar in Peguera.
