I have been to tonic many times, however this most recent visit was so amazing! I visited with my grandparents from out of town. We sat outdoors in the garden. When we arrived, the outdoor space was relatively empty still. As GW students and families filed in, our server handled the rush so wonderfully. Her service was quick, personal, and cheerful. What RJD doesn't like about Tonic At Quigley's:
Stopped here for an early 5pm dinner after touring GW the weekend of 4/20 from Chicago. Nothing on the menu was appealing, ended up having the cheese pizza, black coffee and water. Pizza was terrible, became very ill with food poisoning within hours of eating here. This was the best lunch we had in DC, staff was friendly and the food was on point. 10/10 recommend for lunch!
Very nice restaurant with a wide choice of tasty meals. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.
Good food and good service, everything was very delicious and in good quantity, the only thing was the dessert that we ordered apple pie and the base of what was supposed to be battered apple, it was a kind of mixture of potato balls with some apple syrup on top and a scoop of ice cream!!!! Anyway...if I go back I won't order it for sure
