It was a warm day out so we went for happy hour and were able to sit outside. The drinks were great and all the glasses they came in were super cute. Decorations also set the vibe! View all feedback.
What Shawn Yoakam doesn't like about Tiki On 18th:
We were sat at 6 pm, told that the table was reserved for someone else at 7:30. Perfect plenty of time right…. WRONG!We were reminded again at 6:45 the table was reserved at 7:30. Now I’m little upset but don’t say anything. Then at 6:52 the waitress tells us she needs the table at 7pm now.Unbelievably rude!!!At this point we’re don’t want to stay any longer. Completely treated like unwanted guests. I don’t want to le... View all feedback.
Omg the food and drinks here are unreal. The salmon with green curry, the cornstarch noodles, the garlic rice, and Ube cheesecake were to die for. The staff, bartenders, and chef JoJo made our night so special. They were gracious, kind, and willing to do whatever they could to make the party we hosted at the restaurant amazing. Can’t wait to get back there!

If you’re looking for a happy hour spot with amazing drinks and great food this Tiki Bar should be your next spot. Their food is really delicious like that shrimp and the pork skewers! I really enjoyed their salted shrimp, it’s some of the best shrimp I’ve ever had! This is a great bar with seasonal decorations and unique signature cups for each cocktail. I love that they have indoor seating and a covered patio. This is what we had: Pork BBQ SkewersBBQ-glazed pork skewers with spicy vinegar Gambas al Ajillogarlic shrimp, chili-infused extra virgin olive oil, paprika, lemon, served with ciabatta Buff Chixbuffalo chicken, celery, and carrot spring rolls, with blue cheese dip Lechon Chopsuey (gf)crispy pork belly, green cabbage, shiitake, carrots, young corn, sesame oil, soy sauce, served with steamed rice Tapsimatissoy-marinated shaved beef ribeye, grape tomatoes, chili-oil vinegar, served with garlic riceDrinks:El Diablo(created by: Trader Vic, Trader Vic) Reposado Tequila, Lime, Creme de Cassis, Hibiscus, Ginger Beer (spicy, clean)SATURN(created by: Popo, Kona Kai) Gin Blend #67, Lemon, Passion Fruit, Orgeat , Falernum (tart, aromatic)RUM RUNNER(created at: Holiday Isle) Rum Blend #72, Banana, Pineapple, Lime, Blackberry, Grenadine (tropical, boozv)Happy Buddha(created at: Red Chamber Bar) Bourbon, Guava, Curacao, Lime(warming, fruity)The food and drinks are a bit pricy so I’d definitely try to catch them during happy hour.Parking: There is very limited street parking in Adams Morgan as most of the restaurants have street patios.
Combines two of our favorite things: Tiki drinks and Filipino food! Just be careful of the little red peppers that are in several of the dishes those things are intense.
Fun but expensive. Wouldn't make a special effort to go.
