We were at this location today to have lunch before our show at national Theatre. What John Bryan doesn't like about Potbelly:
I have two bad experiences in a row at Potbelly's at 1299 Pennsylvania. The service was slow with no customers. The sandwich a wreck with lettuce, tomato and mayo was cold. And it was expensive $14). The website for the store does not work and I called Potbelly's customer service and they no longer answer the phone. I think it is the location. Went to Potbelly instead of Subway today since their veggie sandwiches are better. Tenee (sorry if I misspelled your name) offered great customer service even though there were so many customers in line. She seemed like she was the general manager and I wanted to compliment her professionalism, patience, and composure under pressure. Thank you, I will be back.
Rude service ruined my experience as a first-time Potbelly-goer. The bread was Ok.
The staff here was so friendly I mentioned it as vegan and they immediately knew what to recommend. Veggie melt no cheese was tasty. This team should all get raises :
