We stopped in for an afternoon beverage and dessert. Drinks were okay. The apple dessert was awesome; the fried dough and milk not so… Service was slow, plus they add on gratuity and ask for additional tip. View all feedback.
Their food is great. We ordered a small cauliflower, a medium salad, and a large fried chicken. The chicken is juicy and tender with a very crispy taste. Salad is refreshing and mixed well with different ingredients. Overall very large portion and may recommend only order one medium and one large for two person.
Absolutely incredible. I am vegan while my boyfriend is not so it is difficult at times to find a restaurant that will cater to both of us. Maketto was the perfect spot for our night out. Get the scallion pancakes! 10/10!! Will definitely be a spot we return to the next time we visit DC.
Absolutely delicious, with many innovative dishes (like the gruyere dumplings).
We went there to celebrate my fiancé’s dad’s birthday. The service was wonderful and the host was extremely gracious and welcoming. The place had a very chill and modern which I really liked. Food was delicious, although we didn’t get to try as many dishes as we would’ve liked, cause we got full too early. lol. Special mention to the spicy tofu and the shrimp dumplings.
We enjoyed our food and service at this happening restaurant.
