Great location. 15 min ride to DCA. 5 min walk to the Mall. Walking distance to all major museums and landmarks, 10 20 minutes.Spacious rooms, comfy beds. However soundproofing is subpar.Great lounge with tremendous views. We really enjoyed having breakfast there.However there is nothing served midday. This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and the staff is great. Room service stops at 11pm and the restaurant closes so that's a little frustrating when you arrive late. The hotel has nice views. I didn't like that there was no electrical outlet near the desk. Other than that I like the room and we slept good.
The hotel is beautiful and a perfect location for walking around to the museums as well as the monuments. Rooms are on the smaller side but well taken care of, clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have, is it's noisy. The windows don't seem to have any sound proofing and on a Friday night there was loud music playing until around 2am. Saturday wasn't as bad but you can here every car that drives by and if they have music playing its even worse. Overall if you are use to living on a noisy street or are able to play some white noise or something on your phone it won't bother you too much.
Perfect stay! We were upgraded to one of the presidential suites which far exceeded our expectations. Walking distance to just about everything we wanted to see as tourists. Everyone from the hotel staff that we met were very hospitable and helpful. Will definitely return on our next visit to DC. Special mention to the young lady who freshened the room and made sure everything was perfect.
Easy access to all things DC. We appreciated the front desk staff's friendliness and extraordinary efforts in finding us a room. We experienced travel challenges, so this was a kind and welcome surprise. Our room has a wonderful view of the Monument. Happy Anniversary to us!
I was in DC on business. This hotel is close to DCA airport. There is shopping plus lots food options in walking distance. The restaurant inside the hotel had some great food and service. If you be forget your toiletries the hotel products are amazing don’t be afraid to use them. And please wear the robe it will make you feel like you’re at home!!Rooms: The rooms were neat and clean. The robe is so comfortable.Walkability: Close to shopping sightseeing and federal buildings.Food drinks: Several restaurants are with a 5-10 minute walk.
