Rosticceria Falci - CALTANISSETTA

We stopped here for lunch on our drive across Sicily. There is a great selection of Sicilian and Italian food pre-cooked, lot's of locals were coming in to get their takeaway lunches. We had delicious melanzane alla parmigiana and a dish that was a bit like a pizza but using flattened chicken breast instead of a dough base. It is located on a beautiful and picturesque square with two churches and a fountain. The couple that run the place were so lovely and helpful which made is easy to overcome our inability to speak each others language. We sat outside and there are some tables inside. Food was great. It's a lunch stop rather than a dinner stop. We loved it.
