Went to Calpe for a day, just to try something different, and had a stroll on the promenade on the north side of Peñon de Ifach. Eventually sat down at this restaurant which seemed to have a nice daily menu for a decent price. It all started out well, the waiter brought the menu and some drinks, and we ordered our food. But that was about it. After about 45-50 minutes wait, I called the waiter over and asked if the food would be much longer. We had ordered a starter, main and dessert. I was shocked by the response I got, when the waiter told me I could just go to the kitchen myself and ask for the food. Well, that's really not what I need when I have a sunday out to have a nice time. So, we paid for our drinks and left. Please read all the other comments on here, they seem to tell the same story. If you want to be treated respectfully, choose another place.

It was really good and with a reasonable wait on the basis everything is getting cooked to order. The service was first class and we cannot fault the place. Here for a week and we will be back.

As for the service, I realized the attention and speed especially of the girl, and of an Argentine child with the hair of the tip. in terms of food, as I say, there were menus of the day between 13 and 15€ depending on the dishes. of what we asked, spaghetti were very rich and it was a good dish. also the mixed salad, quite complete. of the seconds, the bass was not complete, they gave you a half, and the sepia was the same, another half, I guess you can no longer order the menu price. and very rich ice cream, that is, especially strawberry. summarizing, affordable menu with sea views, and if the service gains some agility, it sure gets better comments.
