This restaurant was recommend to us by a local friend. After spending most of the morning exploring the Calas of the Passeig Ecològic de Benissa, we came to Baydal to have lunch. It was quite busy but it did not take long for us to be seated (We called ahead of time though). This is a popular restaurant, with decent portions and fair prices. The baydal restaurant is the oldest in the port of calpe, alicante (since 1941) and offers good Mediterranean food, fresh fish, fries, rice. a nice place next to the port, with large windows, toix views, the peñón and the port, and specialist and inventor of the arrós of the paella de senyoret with the peeled seafood, ready to eat! the menus are quite affordable.
