The Sunday roast was excellent, making the 20-mile round trip absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be returning soon. The food and service were great, and the prices are very competitive. Thank you! View all feedback.
We made a reservation for 7.45pm but knew we would be running late. We called to let them know and they were very understanding. Despite the kitchen closing at 8pm on Mondays, they waited for us and the food was fantastic. We both ordered the surf and turf, and both steaks were cooked perfectly - one well done and the other rare. It was fabulous. We would definitely give our visit a 10/10. It was our first time there but it won't be our last. Thanks to the entire team. The price per person was between £10-£20.
We were warmly welcomed even though we didn't have a reservation. They are dog-friendly, which is a big plus for me. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 5. Recommended dishes include the Scampi and Chips, Chips, and Sausage. There is plenty of parking available, with free parking options.
This charming pub offers two children's play areas and is suitable for all ages. It has a spacious car park and a convenient central location. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The drink selection is impressive and it's a great spot to take a break during a journey. I last visited this place in 2002 and it still maintains its appeal. Prices range from £1 to £10 per person. The service and atmosphere both receive top marks of 5.
Enjoyed a lovely breakfast and an occasional drink at the bar. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very helpful.
Fantastic little pub. Lovely staff and the food was incredible and good value. The steak pies are to die for. The portions are massive. When down visiting the in-laws, will definitely go back to the pub and try another pie
