On my first visit to Cartagena, I was staying in an hostel just a few meters away from Quero Arepa. I had just arrived in Colombia but I knew what arepas looked like. So one night I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed! Furthermore, I was pleased to notice they had an entire vegetarian menu! What a treat! This food was bland and uninspiring. Our limonada de coco was warm and completely subpar compared to other places in town. I ordered a dish with rice and vegetables which equated to white rice drenched in soy sauce and red peppers - nothing more. Don't let the TripAdvisor reviews fool you- this place is a pass with so many other amazing places to eat in Cartagena. View all feedback.
