Rico Cockatil con camarones. Definitivamente diferente al ceviche de Peru, pero tiene su particularidad, no comer demasiado para no empalagarse con el dulce (Ketchup). View all feedback.
We had a local who brought us here for the first time, so I learned how the system works. We came here almost every day. If you like shrimp or shrimp cocktails at all, you have to come here. There are other places that try to do the same, and nobody goes there. This place has a day and night for a reason. These shrimps are so plump and fresh and the sauce has to make something addictive. Although it is a street stable, the owners treat it like a restaurant. You order, take a place, they somehow track and get it and you pay when you're done. You even get mint! If you're there at night, there's street players on the corner.
This tiny stall in the middle of a street corner was so much more than meets the eye. Of course it looks touristy and kitchy with the gigantic sombrero for a roof but really, that just helps us tourists locate it. The shrimp cocktail was delicious and handmade fresh right in front of you. The staff made sure that everyone got their order correctly and would even bring it to you if you sat in the plastic chairs around the stall. Everyone that was around us were locals or other Colombians so that is definitely saying something. If Andrew Zimmern says it's delicious you have to go try it!
This is a very simple streetfood-place. The variety is quite small but just delicious. We had prawn cocktail. The dressing of this was with some lime and was amazing.
Prawn cocktail with some lime, onion and sauce. Great quality and tasty at a decent price. Street-ish food at it's best.
