We were exhausted after arriving in the city and this restaurant happened to be right outside our hotel. The tables were empty and we were a little nervous at first-- but once the first course arrived, we knew we had found a gem. Real, imported Italian meats and cheeses. Authentic sauces. Friendly staff-- the cook is from Naples, Italy... Give it a try if you are craving Italian while in Cartagena. View all feedback.

Ordered the menu del dia which consisted of a half a chicken breast smothered with tomato based sauce, a scoop of white rice and a cup of mushroom soup. The soup was excellent despite the fact that it was such a hot afternoon. I ordered a panini that was almost complete bread and no meat or fillings. The sandwich was cut in half and was pretty big, but had nothing inside. I took the top pieces of bread from the two halves and crazy a single half sandwich with the floors to taste the meat between the bread. My friend ordered the lasagna and I think they used ketchup instead of tomato sauce. Full waste of money.

The soup was excellent, despite the fact that it was such a hot afternoon. The room was small and cozy and still could not hold the air conditioning because they kept the door open to the outdoor kitchen at any time. I expected more of this little restaurant with the previous reviews. I wouldn't recommend it.
