What Julie Dionne doesn't like about Cafe Amon:
how someone can give this place more than 3 stars is beyond me. two small pieces spekk and two eggs for $8.25 were clearly not fresh. coffee was terrible. when I tried to pay, I was charged a fee of $3 for two pieces I had taken from the breakfast bar. I said I could take dinge there, but when I paid, they explained that they meant only juice and coffee. at the end they didn't charge me, but otherwise it would be $11... View all feedback.

Wifi: 7.6 mbs down 6.6 upload; printer: no; seats: 50 , esstische, couchse, hof; sockets: 3 sockets per seat, mostly round; lighting: dim, but with large windows; lärm: medium; but good for the focus; vanille late: $3.00 usd; order pressure: low, they have full-time waiters, which was a better than the Co-works. large wlan and rooms on rooms decorated in one another cascades and with fountains. it also had access to the hotel pool! great waiting staff and good Irish coffee!
Amazingly quiet place in the middle on san jose, perfect to chat, a date, or read a book. the cheesecake is the most delicious I tried, and the coffee is also great.

We visited here at the recommendation of our tour guide. What can I say? Absolutely fantastic! We were in a group of four and all tried different meals and desserts to follow of course. We all really enjoyed our food, some from the specials of the day and others from the menu. The two gentleman who looked after us were really nice and friendly, they took time to explain the different meals and also explained to us some of the history of the family run hotel/restaurant. We felt extremely welcome and looked after. Would recommend and would definitely go for another visit.
